This directly-connected phone alert, unique to us in the UK, has proved very popular with those having difficulties hearing the phone, or when in a noisy environment. Because of the very bright halogen bulb flash, it has been extensively purchased by and for those with a sight-impairment.

It can be desk- or wall-mounted and comes with f itted mains plug, phone double-adapter, phone cable, wall hanging brackets, and has CE and Pan-European approvals.

……It does not use any ‘flash’ principle which might trigger epilepsy…..

This unit is to be used in conjunction with the Flashing Light Controller (see under ‘DOOR INDICATION’ ), and can be fitted retrospectively. You must use a competent House Electrician. It is plugged-into the phone line, and when the phone rings, it then flashes or dims all the house  lights in sequence with the phone rings, so that you can distinguish the two alerts.
